I put Kavi to bed at 7:30 -- ten minutes later she was downstairs, saying that she was having bad dreams. I promised I'd come up in a few minutes, when I finished a bit of work. She went back up, and at 7:45, I went up too, to be met with her sleepy complaint that I had taken longer than counting to a hundred. I apologized, snuggled her, and within five minutes she was out. Just as I was getting up, she actually laughed in her sleep, just this quiet little adorable chuckle. I guess that bad dream really did turn into a good dream after all.
