That said -- eep. We're halfway through the 30 days now, and need another $7000 to go. I know that typically the big rush of donations comes in at the end, and I am actually quite sure, given how many people have bought my books in the past, that there's enough support out there to make this happen. BUT the big difficulty, always, with this sort of thing is publicity. I don't have a publicist on staff -- there's just me, and I just don't know if I can get the word out to enough people in time.
So I'm asking your help -- if you have (open-minded) friends who might be interested, could you tell them about it? If you're on Facebook, and don't mind letting people know that you read smut, could you post a blurb and link? Twitter too, please, and Google+! If you have a blog, and you'd like me to post a guest entry, I'd love to do that for you. Just let me know! (If you can post today, that would be IDEAL, since apparently Monday is the best day for doing publicity. Start of the news cycle?)
