My rug is still being cleaned, but I now have a desk, a chair, a comfy chair, an end table (for beverages), a curtain (to block out the ugly building across the way), and I have stolen Kevin's fan. Today was really the first day I spent a substantial amount of time working in my study, and it was glorious. I spent much of the time churning through e-mail (from 470 down to 344, which I consider quite a triumph, although it's still appalling), and also started setting up the SLF on Basecamp, which will undoubtedly make us models of productivity. Well, we'll see.
I do wish I could figure out how to take a photo that captures how the tower rises straight up. The room is tiny, but the extra height makes it feel lovely and spacious nonetheless. Maybe I can do something with my camera's panorama stitching option? I never really figured out how that worked...
Maybe try the iPhone app 360 Panorama? I’m not sure it can be used to show overhead as well as all around, but it might help.
As someone with an inbox… larger than yours right now — oh YES that particular decrease sounds like quite a triumph!
