Morning, folks. Just a few little notes:

Someone asked if we'd decided about Oxford, and no, Kev didn't apply for the job. I pretty much left it up to him -- I'd have been okay either staying or going. At least for now, we're staying.

Yesterday was my day off -- I watched baby for half the day, then Kev took the other half, and I mostly goofed off with Warcraft, although I did do a bit of paper organizing. Today, I have Kavi most of the day, but hopefully she'll let me get some work done -- goals: finish putting away the last of the CA clothes (we're SO CLOSE to done), catch up on e-mail, fix SP website with Jed's help if he has a little time, start clearing exercise area. Tomorrow is errands day -- while Jarmila watches Kavi, Kev and I need to go to Macy's, grocery store, Target, who knows where else...

SPECULATIVE LITERATURE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES OLDER WRITERS GRANT

The Speculative Literature Foundation (SLF) is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for the 2008 Older Writers Grant. The grant of $750 is available to any writer of speculative literature of 50 years or older at the time of application just beginning to work professionally in the field. There are no restrictions on the use of the grant money.

The grant will be awarded by a committee of SLF staff members on the basis of interest and merit. Applicants are asked to submit a brief autobiographical statement, a writing sample, and a bibliography. Applications must be received by March 31st 2008. The successful applicant will be announced on June 1st 2008.
