Wow. I had been worried…

Wow. I had been worried because Marjorie wanted me to cut 20K words or so (at least), and I got through the revisions on Part I and hadn't found anything to cut. But no worries. Parts II and III are just chock-full of stuff to cut. I don't know how I didn't see last time through that they were so insanely repetitive. Bizarre. Hacking and slashing with glee now.

(Dan, I hope I don't cut anymore of your favorite bits. :-)

  1. I wish publishers were not so gung-ho on cutting text. I LOVE long books which keep me delighted for many hours.

Heh. If it were long and not repetitive, that might be okay with her. 🙂 I think publishers/editors/writers all worry a lot about boring their readers.
