Working on the memoir, I find I need a strange little bit of help with Polish. My memory of Polish is seriously mangled by the years; I can't remember how to spell anything, for example. I can look up spellings like Mrs. (Panie) and Good morning (Dzien dobre), but I can't figure out what the name of my Polish teacher would have been. Every class we started by saying Good morning, Mrs. Bukawa -- that's what it sounded like, anyway. Dzien dobre, Pani Bukawa. But I can tell looking at it that there's no way that's how her name was actually spelled. Help?

I don’t think it’s there, Sean, but thanks for the list. I may just change the name for the published version anyway, so it’s good to have some names to draw on.
