Bob just called to ask if I'd gotten an e-mail from Marjorie -- and when I said I hadn't yet, he told me to sit down. I don't have any of the publisher details -- e-mail is apparently being slow -- but we have just gotten and accepted two more foreign rights offers -- one for BiM in Italian, and one for both books in Portuguese (Brazil). And cumulatively with the German, we have now actually earned out my advance on Bodies in Motion!

Holy shit! I’ve never personally known anyone to whom it’s happened this way. It took me two years to earn out the small advance on my first novel. This is awesome to watch, Mary Anne; congratulations!
