I could use your collective brainstorming help. We are in desperate need of a name for our SA lit organization here in Chicago. We could just do something straightforward and descriptive, i.e. The South Asian Literary Association of Chicago. But that could also be a subtitle, and we could have either an acronym (SALAC, I suppose) or an evocative name to go first. The problem is, I suck at coming up with evocative names. Any thoughts?
If you go with “SALAC”, you can pronounce it “sa-laish”, like the start of “salacious”…
