Sadly, Mary Anne's plane has been delayed further; she won't be departing until 8 a.m. Saturday, UK time. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that'll put her in Chicago sometime mid-day Saturday, Chicago time.
It was unclear to me whether she'll have Net access between now and then, but I wouldn't count on it.
Welcome home whenever you arrive, Mary Anne. A flight instructor once told me that it is better to be on the ground, wishing you were in the air, than to be in the air, wishing you were on the ground. I suspect this applies to passengers as well as pilots.
