Hey, academics. I’ve just joined my faculty union’s Racial Justice Working Group, and I could use help with something.
One major area of discussion is how we can hire more Black and POC faculty. I’m not up on this research, and I’m guessing most of the working group won’t be either, so I’d love to bring some resources to our next meeting.
If you can point me towards best practices for effectively hiring more Black and POC faculty, I would love to see them. Thank you!
