Had a really nice interview / chat with a new project, have been hired to do some cultural consultant work. I’ve signed an NDA, so can’t give a lot of details, but wanted to mention it, especially for others out there who may be interested in this kind of work. Also wanted to be transparent about pay. So far, among the things I’ve been paid for on this:
– $2000 for reviewing a novel
– $1200 for script consultation on a TV episode
– $40 / hr for the current ongoing project, which will involve world-building, art review, and more
Nice to see people taking this seriously enough to put their money down, and hopefully we get better art (and maybe even a better world) as a result.
