The front yard is prepped for spring, hooray -- I did the bulk of the raking, and hired a college student, Adam, to come and stuff bags. He filled ten yard waste bags! The best part about raking up leaves in spring is that as you go, you turn over damp leaves to discover green sprouts underneath. Hello, snowdrops! Hello, hyacinth and daffodil tips!
