Spent half an hour…

Spent half an hour watering the plants and puttering with them this morning. The grocery store has little pots of African violets for $1.50 each -- I bought five of them and underplanted my duranta for a splash of color. That white amaryllis just put out its fifth huge bloom -- I've been cutting off the others as they wither, so it continues to look elegant and lovely, a month and a half in. I think it'll be two solid months of flowers by the time it's done. My hibiscus has apparently decided it likes blooming in winter -- it's had flowers on it for the last few weeks, with about half a dozen going right now. Snow outside, but flowers in here. :-) Time to go refill the bird feeder. :-)
