Okay, now I'm freaked. Due to a random conversation, I was reminded that I started a SF novel that takes place directly after "Jump Space." I couldn't remember much about it -- I thought I had written about a chapter or so. I just went and found it, and there are *seven* chapters written, 33,000 words. That's half a short novel. What the hell. How do you completely forget 33,000 words??
Apparently, I last worked on this in August 2009, which I guess is the explanation -- Anand was born in September 2009, and apparently my brain melted for a while after that, and I guess when I put my brain together again, the novel had seeped out of it entirely. Um. I kind of feel like I wrote a third of a book tonight. Yay?
That is awesome. This is now my favorite example of Mommy Brain (and its friend Daddy Brain).
Awesome indeed! I hope you finish it. And, I volunteer to be a reader if you do work on it!
I would love to be a reader for it as well!
