Home again, home again,…

Home again, home again, jiggity jig. The children greeted me excitedly at the door (is there a better feeling?). Kevin gave me a kiss and then wearily and relievedly took to his bed. I have played one game of Plants vs. Zombies for Anand, and then distributed their presents. Kavya was delighted with her new Merida and Elinor dolls (this will probably occupy her for the rest of the afternoon), also her sparkly gold headband (she's wearing it now), and Anand has devoured his packet of Angry Birds cookies (thanks, Jed!) in about two minutes flat. The house is a disaster, but I have nothing to do but watch tv and clean it, pausing to play with Anand as needed. There is some curry for my dinner, and I am going to go make myself a cup of tea. It's good to be home.
