Had an awesome time at…

Had an awesome time at Lori's backyard barbecue today. Tip: if you're too harried to cook, buying some of those little pickled red peppers (piquillo) from the olive bar and stuffing them with goat cheese makes a quick appetizer to bring to a party. Better yet, buy them already stuffed. :-)

Food was great (Lori, I need that kabob recipe, stat!), company ditto. The weather was remarkably perfect, and there were two gorgeous big dogs to play with. Really, what more could you ask from a Saturday evening in summer?
