Penny Mac hydrangea…

Penny Mac hydrangea makes an insanely pretty flower -- I could photograph it every day. I've been restraining myself.

The culver's root in lavender and white has a lovely architectural shape, great for a cut flower; I call this photo Still Life with Legos.

I'm a bit surprised that the peachleaf bellflower is blooming lavender and white on the same plant, but okay, whatever. You go on with your bicolored beauty, you!

And today, the tall garden phlox (phlox paniculata hybrids) burst into bloom. With luck, they'll bloom for six weeks straight.
