When you start being nitpicky about reading all the words correctly, she’ll likely decide she likes to read silently!
I remember that it was a somewhat tricky transition when I learned to “read to myself” as we called it when I was five years old. But, I practiced and succeeded, of course. It is interesting how this comment awakened this memory from 1949 or 1950!
