I thought about saving some to try in salad, but didn't have the energy to cope with it given imminent departure for WisCon. But don't worry -- I'm sure they'll be back. I will say, that's the best smelling basket of weeds I've ever encountered.

Just took a break from proofing to weed. (Gardening mixed with writing is better for my back.) Pulled up about a hundred garlic mustard plants from the backyard (front yard has been kept more under control :-) ), some of them taller than me. Huzzah for weeding right after a thunderstorm; no way I could have just pulled them out otherwise.
