I wish you guys could read the final papers from my 400-level SF/F lit. class because they are just SO GOOD. They wrote such great analyses of the work of John Chu, Ted Chiang, Octavia Butler, Nnedi Okorafor, Hiromi Goto, and more. I'm teaching this course again next fall, and I've got to say, the next batch of students is going to have a high standard to live up to.
