If you're in or near Denver this Friday evening, and possibly not attending AWP, but would still like to meet me and hear some great S. Asian writers read, please consider attending our Highlands Ranch library event:

Title: From Bombs to Bindis, Stereotypes, Tensions, and Trends in S. Asian Writing

Five South Asian women authors will discuss stereotypes, trends and tensions in South Asian Diaspora Writing in this special after hours library program. Authors are: Minal Hajratwala, Mary Anne Mohanraj, Summi Kaipa, Ramola D, Roohi Choudhry. Books represented are: Leaving India -My Family's Journey from Five Villages to Five Continents by Minal Hajratwala, Bodies in Motion by Mary Anne Mohanraj, Indivisible - an anthology of contemporary South Asian American Poetry by Summi Kaipa, Temporary Lives by Ramola D and several poetry anthologies with Roohi Choudry's work.
