Today I had the children for eight hours (4 a.m. - 12 noon), and then Lori came by and Kevin took over. Lori and I ducked out briefly to Centuries and Sleuths, a bookstore in Forest Park that specializes in histories and mysteries (Lori likes both) and Chix with Stix (yarn store). Then back here, in theory to do writing. She's working on a new novel (!) and I'm supposedly rewriting my Wild Cards story, but despite my chai, I am very sleepy and eyes keep wanting to close.
