Finished cleaning this morning, after barely sleeping at all. I don't know why, but neither Kevin nor I could get comfortable on the air mattress last night. Weird, since I've napped on it before and had no trouble. Maybe stress, maybe two people on it, I don't know. Drove to Cafe Buzz in Oak Park and had hearty breakfast, then drove to Daniel and Anne's with last load of stuff in the car. Promptly collapsed in their very comfortable guest bed. Are totally reconsidering the whole sleeper sofa/air mattress or even built-in mattress option -- would very much like to offer our guests a real bed! So nice! Also, so glad that we left Kavi and Ellie at Jarmila's overnight!
Just woke up, and apparently a) our condo closing is still progressing (it started at 9 a.m.), but with no major hang-ups yet. (They did demand $100 to repair a broken faucet cover, but whatever. Fine.) And b) no written offer yet from the Elmwood people. So, who knows. We have several houses to look at, with showings starting at 3 p.m. We'll see what happens.
