I’m excited about this…

I'm excited about this event -- it grew out of an idea of mine, and was developed by a whole bunch of talented folks. One of the pieces they're adapting is my "Princess in the Forest" -- it's cut down to five minutes, which I'm afraid may lose a lot of the subtlety, but hey, I get to see something of mine staged, by real actors. That's exciting! :-)

Rasaka Theatre Company presents an afternoon of original short works by South Asian writers, as part of Remy Bumppo's "thinkTank" series. The pieces provide a revealing look at the immigration experience of the South Asian woman. The performance includes original works by South Asian writers including: Devi Bhaduri, Anita Chandwaney, Gitanjali Kapila, Fawzia Mirza, Mary Anne Mohanraj, Angeli Primlani and Bobby Zaman. This is a free one-day only event.
