Vera, you can certainly play, but I’m not sure that Elaine of Astolat (the Lady of Shalott) and Galahad’s mom are the same Elaine. I know there were two in Malory, and re-reading over the Tennyson last night, Elaine of Astolat was the one who convinced Lance to wear her favor, the first time he’d ever worn a lady’s favor, but then he didn’t return her affections, and she just died. She had a brother, Lavaine, and her father was just a knight. Whereas I think Galahad’s mother, Elaine, was the daughter of a lord or possibly a minor king, and her father actually agreed to let her have sex with Lancelot so that she could bear his child, the holy Galahad who had been prophesied to be the best knight of all time. So you might want to look that up, or you could merge them. In any case, I have you down for them now. 🙂
