That's been my morning so far. I'm caught up on Duncan's line edits, but sadly, haven't yet written the new stuff I need to write. That's the next task. Quick breather first -- he's going to be sending me a lot more line edits too.
Last night's dinner went splendidly, btw. Roshani and Tom and Zoe and Chris and Ann arrived around 7-ish, as expected. We had gado-gado (cooked veggies with peanut sauce) and wine and spent a little time catching up; was fun. Then Nimmi and Romi arrived a little before 8 -- by that point, the rice was almost done, and I was just finishing up the last curry. We ate, we drank, we told embarrassing stories about each other. We've known each other for forever, you know? It was much fun getting together with them again.
Today I work until 3:30 or so, and then Mirna and I go off to dinner at my aunt's (Nimmi and Romi's mom) place. Should be pleasant, and good food. Mmm...curry.
