Good dinner with Susan and David last night; Sri Lankan curries for dinner, apple crisp with french vanilla ice cream for dessert. Mmmm... Bit of a mixed cuisine, but that's okay. I'll take tastiness over coherence. :-) I thoroughly enjoyed The Lion in Winter again, and I think Susan liked it too. David had some trouble with all the historical anachronisms -- this is what happens when you let a historian watch a historical movie. But I thought it was great. Fabulous dialogue. Totally messed-up family dynamics. Most amusing, and a little heart-wrenching too, much like Dangerous Liaisons in that regard.

No time for extended Kingdom business now, but I just want to note for Mr. Hartman, that while he may claim to be a pacifistic anarchist, in the end, if you're not with me, you're against me. At least if you're living in my kingdom. I'm pretty sure. Well, maybe. Unless it interferes with my getting kisses. We'll have to wait and see...
