Hey, guys. Slow day! It's somehow 3:30 and I've gotten hardly anything done...and I'm not sure why. :-( I did take two hours out this morning to go sketch ($5, well worth it esp. since the money went to my friend Holly who was the art model), but that doesn't explain where the rest of the day went. Some e-mail. A little reading. Slept kinda late. I dunno...

I did get some a nice note recently -- another erotica author (who goes by Uther Pendragon :-), told me that the Chicago Public Library has separate sections for Fiction and for Literature. "Torn Shapes of Desire" is listed under Literature. Pretty cool, huh? :-)

I guess progress is being made, but it's not obvious. Maybe that's it. Or maybe it really is that I haven't gotten much done. Maybe if I grade my students' web pages, I'll feel better. I've got a couple of hours before rehearsal tonight; I could probably get that done.

On the plus side, my fingers have healed enough to type. Yippee! I've still got a bandage on one, but I think I can leave it off long enough to rehearse -- I'm pretty sure that won't split the cut open again. Hmm...I better pack a couple of band-aids in my bag, just in case.

Exercised a teeny tiny bit yesterday and today too. I felt like such a wimp -- according to my chart, I could only do about half as many reps of stuff as when I *started* last time. What a wimp. But I'm still coughing, so let's call it illness. At least I'm doing something. Now it just has to last...

Did decide to go to CA after all. So I'm going to be hitting the road a fair bit in the next month. I think I'll survive. Karen, I'll be in town for that Mafia party...count me in.

Oh, and I'll be on LoveBytes again tomorrow night. Tune in! 7 p.m. MST, same bat time, same bat channel. I'll try to be sexier than last time (I was feeling pretty ill last time, and I'm afraid that might have come through in the interview).

Umm...wish I had something witty to say. Just random notes today -- sorry. Maybe I'll manage something better tomorrow...
